The Botanic Garden of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz will be hosting the 5th Plant Records Conference on 11 and 12 May, 2019.

Mainz Botanic Garden has been designed to function as an educational and scientific garden. In a regional context, the garden actively participates in the preservation of the rare flora of the Rhineland-Palatinate. To complement the reproduction of the Mainz Sand Flora, a new section themed around the region of the steppes of Europe has been created over the last few years.

Programme

We will announce a draft programme by the end of January 2020. Roughly you can expect an excursion to Mainzer Sand on Sunday afternoon followed by a joint dinner. We will hold presentations, workshops and training sessions on Monday and Tuesday. The conference dinner will take place on Monday. We will close the conference on Tuesday at 16:00.
